The Civil Department has grown tremendously over the years and is now recognized as one of the major engineering departments in the country. The Department of Civil Engineering with its multifaceted faculty maintain and cultivate its strong links with the infrastructural industry, academic & research.The principal educational objective of our department is to provide the students, fundamental knowledge and the skills needed to resolve the problems related with the construction. The department lends support to the collaborative project, seminars, workshop and also associates itself in different consultancy activities like design, detailing, quality control, project management etc., to meet the challenges of both private and public sector project
